  1. Venmo is currently the best for me because almost everyone has it (I’m a college student). The social media part is sometimes weird, but I just put less lowkey payments on private. Also, the request feature is great on Venmo bc it’s more cumbersome to text a reminder, and I don’t think zelle has a remind feature. I use it for utilities and for people who I don’t trust to pay me back 😂. However, venmo does need to make their request feature more prominent bc unfulfilled requests are easy to miss. My landlord got me and my roommate using zelle. We use that to send rent money to each other bc it doesn’t have a transfer fee, which is helpful with large amounts of money. However, not everyone’s bank uses zelle, and it’s not fast because most people I know don’t already have it. It’ll probably grow as more people use it bigger and more private payments like rent or security deposits. I’ve seen a bunch of celebrities sponsored by cashapp, but I haven’t felt the need to download it yet. I’ve never sent anyone money with Apple Pay even though most of my friends have iPhones. I use Apple Pay for a lot of my mobile purchases. Apple Pay is a GODSEND when you forget/lose your debit card! I forgot mine at the grocery store one time and panicked bc I had like $150 worth of groceries and there were plenty of people behind me in like, but then I realized they took Apple Pay and crisis was averted. I also know a lot of clubs and fundraisers that use Venmo for simplicity and efficiency.

  3. What is he talking about "underserved" ? 😂
    Who's underserved in 2020 in USA ? Give me a break 🤣
Only people who I can think of as underserved financially (as in can't have access to a bank account, bank app and so on) are homeless, drug dealers and so on.

  5. Answer:
They keep your money in US treasuries to earn a small fee
There are fees for instant transfer to bank account or linking Venmo to a card instead of your bank account
They receive fees from vendors/stores that accept Venmo as a form of payment

new: They receive kickbacks when venmo card users buy something at a place that venmo has a deal with where discounts are offered through their card.
